How does the annuity desk work? It couldn't be easier:
- You fill in the online annuity quote form with all your details (and spouses, if you wish to take a spouses option), along with your telephone number and e-mail address
- A fully qualified member of our annuity desk will e-mail our Initial disclosure documents to you. This will explain how we work and how we are regulated
- A member of our team will then call you to discuss the information that you have on your enquiry as well as discussing what annuity options you wish to look at
- We then scan the whole of the market and get back to you with the best available quote for your annuity. The Retirement Options Adviser who initially spoke to you will call you within 4-5 working days with this figure
- The adviser will then ask if you would like to proceed with the figures that have been quoted, if you are happy to do so, we will handle all the paperwork and submit all documents and information on your behalf to the various insurance companies involved
- We take all the hassle out of what can sometimes be a very stressful situation
- Our team will continue to communicate via e-mail and phone calls to ensure that you are aware of the progress of your annuity as they chase the insurance companies involved
- You will always be able to communicate via e-mail or telephone with a member of our team should you have any queries or worries
- From start to finish the whole process should take about 4-6 weeks, and you can sit back and enjoy your retirement
